From 2 April, BBC Earth’s Wild Asia: Life at Extremes will be showing in the Dome at Museon-Omniversum, the largest dome-shaped screen in the Benelux. Discover never before filmed animals in breathtaking landscapes in this captivating, immersive large-format film for all ages.

Asia is the largest continent on Earth, home to nearly 50 countries. It is a continent of extreme habitats, and the wildlife that lives there has adapted to these extremes. From ancient forests and tropical seas to deserts and endless mountain ranges, including the highest peaks on Earth in the Himalayas. Asia is so vast that its mountains can shape the weather and shapes entire ecosystems.

In BBC Earth’s Wild Asia: Life at Extremes, one wonder follows another. See sperm whales in the Indian Ocean, Tibetan foxes among yaks on the Tibetan Plateau, elusive red pandas in the Himalayas, and long-eared jerboas in the Gobi Desert. Watch the beautiful long-tailed tits feeding on “sap ice” in northern Japan. Explore the deadly sea slugs of the Coral Sea in the Pacific Ocean. And experience an incredible shark feeding frenzy captured on film for the very first time. Each story reveals the remarkable ways wildlife has adapted to its challenging environment.
