Romans behind the dunes

An exhibition about the Romans in our coastal region and the Cananefates, the original inhabitants.

Using a selection of unique finds from the area around The Hague, the exhibition gives an impression of life among the Romans and the original inhabitants of the coastal region the Cananefates. Themes such as the army, fashion, makeup, Roman cuisine and architecture are explored in the exhibition.
