This exhibition hall focuses on geological processes that take place at the Earth’s surface.

How the landscape has been shaped by weathering and erosion is illustrated with a model of the Rhine River. The exhibition also features glacial erratics, fossils of Pleistocene mammals, an overview of the Quaternary period and a landscape map of the Netherlands.
