Other questions

Q: I have lost something. Has it maybe been found?
A: Lost or forgotten something? Email us at info@museon-omniversum.nl. We will then check for you whether the item has been found. If so, we will make an appointment to collect the found item.

Q: Does Museon-Omniversum have a cloakroom and lockers?
A: Yes, we have an unguarded cloakroom. For valuables, we have lockers in various sizes. This applies to the museum location on Stadhouderslaan.

Q: May I take photographs in Museon-Omniversum?
A: Yes, you may. Only without a flash (in connection with the preservation of the collection). During film screenings, taking photographs and/or filming is not allowed.

Q: Do you also have quest tours in the exhibition?
A: Yes, for One Planet Expo we have a strip chart with questions that will guide you through the exhibition. This is available in Dutch and in English.

Q: I am planning to come to Museon-Omniversum with children. How long does a visit take approximately?

A: It depends of course on what you want to do and the age of the children. A visit to the exhibitions usually takes 1.5 to 2.5 hours. The films take about 45 minutes. If you also take part in an activity, you can expect a stay of 3-4 hours.

Q: Is Museon-Omniversum fun for children under 4?

A: For the exhibitions, young children need more explanation from parents or supervisors, but usually they still find it very exciting and fascinating.
When visiting the big-screen movie theatre, as a parent or carer you can judge best yourself whether children can handle a big-screen movie. The combination of a huge picture and loud sound effects can be overwhelming for young children.

Children up to 3 years old do not pay admission, provided they sit on your lap during the film.
