  • Small plate
  • Spray bottle filled with water
  • Tablespoon & teaspoon
  • Flower seeds suitable for bees (can be ordered online, e.g., from bird or nature organizations)

  1. Place a piece of (natural) clay about the size of a ping-pong ball on your plate.
  2. Add 5 tablespoons of compost (potting soil) to the clay.
  3. Knead the clay and soil together well. If itโ€™s too dry, spray a little water with the spray bottle.
  4. Add a teaspoon of seeds.
  5. Knead the seeds into the mixture thoroughly.
  6. Divide the mixture into 3 pieces and roll them into neat little balls.
  7. Let the balls dry.
  8. Throw the seed bombs in your garden or a flower pot, but not in protected nature areas.
  9. The seeds will grow quite quickly. Keep an eye out for wild bees visiting the flowers!
