Nature is beautiful and unique. In densely populated countries like the Netherlands and Belgium, it is something to be cherished. Stunning nature photography plays a vital role in reinforcing this awareness. This idea has been the driving force behind the Green Camera nature photography award. This year marks its ninth edition.

The Green Camera features three categories:

  • Nature Photographer of the Year: Awarded for the best photo series.
  • Nature Photo of the Year: Prizes across seven categories: Landscapes, Black & White, Invertebrates, Plants & Fungi, Birds, Mammals, Reptiles & Amphibians, and Abstract.
  • Young Nature Talent of the Year: For aspiring photographers under 18.
