Three generations move through a forest where time seems to slow down.
In a vast mountain landscape in northeastern France, a father, son, and grandfather walk into the forest together. Surrounded by mist and tall spruce trees, they follow the rhythm of the woods and whatever reveals itself along the way.
After The Velvet Queen, nature photographer and filmmaker Vincent Munier returns to the region where he grew up. Together with his father Michel and his son Simon, he spends time in the vast forests of the Vosges. From hidden shelters, they observe lynx, deer, owls, and other animals that rarely reveal themselves.
