About the film

A compelling musical journey through the most intimate and turbulent period of John Lennon and Yoko Ono. The film casts new light on the 18 months they spent in Greenwich Village in the early 1970s. From personal struggles to social activism and finally the legendary One to One concert at Madison Square Garden.

Made by Oscar winner Kevin Macdonald including Marley and The Mauritanian and with a sound mix specially remastered by their son Sean Ono Lennon the story comes to life as never before. With never before seen footage and previously unheard recordings this is a unique look into Lennon’s life after The Beatles.

One to One is not a nostalgic look back but a raw and hopeful portrait of how music love and activism came together at a crucial moment in their lives.
